You can see the difference before you feel it

Combing removes the short fibres before spinning. What is left is longer, more even yarn - so the pile stands upright, sheds less and holds its surface through the wash. Structural illustrations drawn to the same scale; ask for physical samples and judge the real thing in your hand.
