An Alternative to the Large Indian Linen Mills
From a 500-piece trial to full 20/40 ft containers, on one approved spec
Towels · bed linen · bathrobes · one exporter accountable for all of it
Why buyers look past the large mills
The large integrated mills are the right answer for some buyers. They spin, weave, dye and finish under one owner, and they run retail programmes for big-box chains at a scale few suppliers can match. If that is your programme, go to them.
Two kinds of buyer find the fit harder. The first order is small: a hotel group, distributor or brand testing a new spec does not want to commit to a large minimum before it has held the product. The order spans categories: one integrated towel mill does not make your percale sheets or waffle robes, so a mixed container means three suppliers, three sets of documents and three people to chase.
Anabyn is built for both. A trial run starts at 500 pieces. When it is approved, the same spec goes to wholesale at 2,000 pieces per SKU and on to full containers, with the specialist mill for each category named on the purchase order and one exporter of record for the whole shipment.
Match Your Need
Which Indian supplier fits your order?
| If you need… | Best fit |
|---|---|
| A captive vertical mill (spinning to finishing under one owner) or a big-box retail programme | A large integrated Indian mill such as Welspun, Trident or Indo Count |
| The lowest price on plain commodity towels, with quality checks done by you | A cluster mill in Solapur, Karur or Panipat, bought direct or through a buying agent |
| One accountable exporter from a 500-piece trial up to full 20/40 ft containers on the same approved spec, towels, sheets and robes in one container, and the mill named on the PO | Anabyn - an export house that places each category with a specialist partner mill and inspects at AQL 2.5 before shipping from Cochin or Vizhinjam |
| Fewer than about 500 pieces, delivered within days | A local hotel-supply wholesaler in your own country |
Company names are referenced factually to describe supplier types. Anabyn is an export house and is not affiliated with the other companies named.
What changes when one exporter holds the spec
Start small, without changing supplier later
The trial, the wholesale order and every container are made to the same approved sample. You do not re-qualify a new supplier when volume grows.
Container scale, mixed by category
Full 20 ft and 40 ft loads, with towels, bed linen and bathrobes from their specialist mills consolidated into one shipment and one set of export documents.
The mill is named, not hidden
Each category goes to a named specialist partner mill. You know who makes your product, and inspection at AQL 2.5 happens before the balance payment.
Short routes to the Gulf
Ships from Cochin or Vizhinjam. Cochin to Jebel Ali is 10–14 days, and Indian-origin linen enters the UAE at 0% duty under CEPA.
Payment tied to inspection
50% advance, 50% on production completion (before dispatch). The balance falls due only after the goods pass AQL 2.5 against your approved sample.
Checkable before you pay
IEC, GSTIN and LLP registration can be verified on government portals from our /verify page before any deposit.

Choosing between a large mill and an export house - FAQ
Is Anabyn a manufacturer?
No. Anabyn is an export house. It writes the spec, places each order with a named specialist partner mill in India, inspects production at AQL 2.5 and ships as exporter of record. It does not own looms, and it is not a trading company reselling stock.
Can an export house handle full containers?
Yes. Anabyn ships full 20 ft and 40 ft containers on repeat programmes. A 40 ft container holds roughly 14,000–20,000 bath towels or 8,000–12,000 sheet sets, depending on GSM and packing. Use the container loading calculator for your exact mix.
What is the smallest order you accept?
Trial runs start at 500 pieces. Wholesale pricing starts at 2,000 pieces per SKU. Below about 500 pieces a local wholesaler will usually serve you better, because a loom set-up and a dye lot cost the same at 100 pieces as at 1,000.
Why not buy directly from one large mill?
If one mill makes everything you need and its minimum suits you, buying direct is a good option. An export house helps when the first order is below that minimum, or when towels, sheets and robes need to come from different specialist mills in one container under one set of documents.
How do I check Anabyn before paying a deposit?
Verify the IEC, GSTIN and LLP registration on the government portals linked from anabyn.com/verify, ask for the OEKO-TEX certificate number and check it on oeko-tex.com, and approve a physical sample before production.
