Hotel blanket weight depends on type: Acrylic thermal blanket: 200–350 GSM (lightweight but insulating). Cotton waffle blanket: 300–400 GSM (breathable, moderate weight). Polar fleece blanket: 250–350 GSM (very lightweight, fast-drying). Wool blend blanket/throw: 400–600 GSM (heavier, premium warmth). Hotel blankets are typically lighter than duvet inners - a blanket provides moderate warmth while a duvet provides high warmth. Most 4-star hotels use 250–350 GSM acrylic or cotton waffle blankets.

Yes. Fire-retardant (FR) hotel blankets are required in many markets (UK BS 5867, Australia AS/NZS 1530, USA California TB117). We supply FR-treated acrylic blankets and inherent FR fibre blankets meeting relevant national standards. FR certification documentation (burn test certificates, lab reports) provided with each FR order. Airlines (airline blankets) must meet FAR 25.853 vertical burn test - we supply aviation-grade FR blankets.
