What is a zero twist towel?
A zero twist towel is made from cotton yarn that has not been twisted during the spinning process. Instead, the yarn fibres are loosely held together with a water-soluble PVA thread, which dissolves in the first wash. After washing, the untwisted fibres bloom outward, creating an extraordinarily soft, cloud-like pile that is unique to zero twist construction.
Are zero twist towels more absorbent than regular terry?
Yes. Untwisted yarn fibres have a greater surface area than tightly twisted fibres, allowing faster initial water absorption. However, the pile is also slightly more delicate — zero twist towels are best washed below 60°C and tumble-dried at medium heat to preserve the bloom. With proper care they remain highly absorbent for 100+ wash cycles.
What GSM is recommended for zero twist hotel towels?
For hotel use, 550–600 GSM is the standard zero twist specification. This provides maximum softness (the "wow factor" for guests) while maintaining enough pile density for commercial laundry durability. Ultra-luxury properties sometimes specify 650 GSM for suite bathrooms. 450 GSM zero twist is suitable for cost-conscious mid-market hotels who still want the softness benefit.
What is the minimum order for zero twist towels from India?

Can zero twist towels be custom-branded for my hotel or spa?
