About Anabyn

Who is Anabyn?

Anabyn (Anabyn Global Ventures LLP) is a hotel bed and bath linen manufacturer-exporter based in Kodungallur, Thrissur District, Kerala, India. We supply terry towels, bathrobes, bed linen, bath mats and F&B linen to hotels, distributors, importers and retail brands in 60+ countries, shipping FOB Cochin. Export Code (IEC) ACLFA6777F, GSTIN 32ACLFA6777F1Z8.

Is Anabyn a manufacturer or a trading company?

Anabyn is a direct manufacturer-exporter, not a trading intermediary. We run our own facility in Thrissur, Kerala, so there is no middle margin and no second company between you and the production line. Co-founder Anoop Ashraf has run textile manufacturing in Kerala since 2013 through Dezire Sportswear.

Where is Anabyn located and which port do you ship from?

Our facility is in Kodungallur, Thrissur District, Kerala, about 30 km from Cochin Port (INCOK) and Cochin International Airport. We ship FOB Cochin by default. Vizhinjam deep-water transshipment port is roughly 200 km away, and Kerala has 16+ ports and 4 international airports, so we can re-route sea or air freight when a lane gets congested.

How do I contact Anabyn?

Email sales@anabyn.com or WhatsApp +91 94956 13121. You can also send specs through the quote form at anabyn.com/request-quote. We reply to enquiries within 24 business hours.

What products does Anabyn supply?

Bath linen (bath towels, hand towels, face towels, pool and beach towels, bath mats, bathrobes), bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, mattress protectors), F&B and table linen, and hotel uniforms. Cotton terry, percale, sateen and cotton-polyester blends, in white, dyed and custom Pantone-matched colours.

Who are your typical customers?

Hotel groups and resorts, hospitality distributors and linen supply companies, importers and wholesalers, spa and wellness operators, healthcare facilities, and retail or Amazon FBA brands buying private-label towels and robes.

MOQ and ordering

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ starts at 500 pieces per towel SKU (one colour and size counts as one SKU) and 200 pieces or sets for bed linen and bathrobes. Custom logo embroidery raises it to 1,000 pieces per SKU, and full private-label programs with custom woven labels and retail packaging start at 2,000 pieces per SKU because of label and packaging minimums.

Can I place a small trial order before committing to a container?

Yes. A single-SKU trial run is a normal way to start with us, and most long-running accounts began that way. You can test one spec, check it against your laundry cycle, then scale to mixed-SKU and full container loads with volume price breaks.

Do you offer free samples?

Yes. We send 2 free samples so you can check hand feel, GSM and stitching before ordering. Samples ship in 7 to 14 days. Courier cost is usually paid by the buyer, and custom-developed samples (your Pantone, your weave, your label) are quoted separately and credited against your first bulk order.

How do I get a price quote?

Send your product, GSM or thread count, size, quantity, destination port and preferred Incoterm to sales@anabyn.com, or use anabyn.com/request-quote. You get a formal quotation within 24 business hours. If you are unsure of the spec, tell us the property type and use case and we will propose one.

What information do you need to quote accurately?

Six things: product type, GSM (towels) or thread count (bed linen), finished size, quantity per SKU, destination port or city, and Incoterm (FOB, CIF or DDP). Add branding requirements (embroidery, woven label, packaging) if you need private label.

Can I mix different products and sizes in one order?

Yes, as long as each SKU meets its own MOQ. A common first container mixes bath towels, hand towels, face towels and bath mats in one shipment, which is more freight-efficient than ordering each separately.

How do I place an order once I accept the quote?

We issue a proforma invoice with specs, quantities, price, Incoterm and lead time. You confirm it and pay the 30% advance (or open the L/C). Production starts on receipt, and we send progress updates plus pre-shipment inspection photos before dispatch.

Pricing and payment

How much do bulk towels from India cost?

Anabyn towel prices start around $1.40 per piece FOB Cochin, and bed linen sets from about $5.00 per set, as of the June 2026 price bands. Final price depends on GSM, size, cotton type, dyeing, branding, order quantity and current cotton rates, so treat these as entry points and ask for a quote against your spec.

What payment terms do you accept?

T/T (bank transfer) with 30% advance and 70% before shipment or against the B/L copy, or an irrevocable L/C at sight. Regular buyers can negotiate other structures. We do not ship on open credit for a first order.

Why are towels priced per kg sometimes and per piece other times?

Terry towels are woven and costed by cotton weight, so mills quote per kg, while hotels and retailers buy per piece. Converting is straightforward: piece weight equals GSM multiplied by the finished area in square metres. A 70x140 cm towel at 550 GSM weighs about 539 g, so a $4.50/kg rate is roughly $2.43 per piece before finishing and packing.

Do prices drop at higher volumes?

Yes. Price breaks come at full container load, and the biggest saving is usually freight per piece rather than the unit price itself. Repeat programs on a fixed spec also cost less than one-off runs because setup and sampling are already done.

What are the customs duties on importing textiles from India?

Duty depends on your country and HS code. Towels usually fall under HS 6302.60 and bed linen under HS 6302.21 or 6302.31. India has trade agreements that reduce or zero-rate duty in several markets, including the India-UAE CEPA. We supply the HS codes and Certificate of Origin so your broker can confirm the applicable rate before you commit.

Product specs

What GSM is best for hotel bath towels?

500 to 550 GSM is the standard hospitality spec and the right choice for most 3 and 4-star properties. 600 to 700 GSM is luxury and 5-star resort spec. 400 to 500 GSM suits pool, beach, gym and spa towels where fast drying matters more than plushness. Below 400 GSM is economy and wears out faster in commercial laundry.

What does GSM actually mean for a towel?

GSM is grams per square metre, the weight of the fabric. Higher GSM means more cotton per square metre, so the towel is thicker, more absorbent and heavier when wet, but takes longer to dry and costs more to launder. It is a density measure, not a quality guarantee: a well-made 500 GSM towel outlasts a badly made 700 GSM one.

What is the difference between percale and sateen bed sheets?

Percale is a one-over-one-under weave that feels crisp and cool and breathes well, which suits warm climates and guests who run hot. Sateen is a four-over-one-under weave that feels silky and slightly warmer with a soft sheen. Percale usually survives commercial laundering with fewer pulls, sateen photographs better in a suite.

What thread count should hotel bed linen be?

200 to 300 thread count is the working hospitality range and what most commercial laundries handle best. 300 to 500 is premium and luxury spec. Anything advertised above 800 in bulk is usually multi-ply yarn counted creatively, so ask for the yarn count and ply alongside the thread count.

What is the difference between combed and carded cotton towels?

Combed cotton has the short fibres removed before spinning, so the yarn is stronger, smoother and sheds far less lint. Carded cotton keeps the short fibres, which is cheaper but pills and lints more over repeated washes. Anabyn towels are ring-spun combed cotton, which is why they hold up through industrial wash cycles.

How long should hotel towels last?

A well-specified hotel towel should hold its weight, absorbency and edge stitching through roughly 200 industrial wash cycles, which for most properties is two to three years of service. We build and test to that target, because replacing linen early costs a property far more than the price difference per piece.

What sizes do you supply?

Standard bath towel 70x140 cm, bath sheet 90x180 cm, hand towel 40x60 cm, face towel 30x30 cm, bath mat 50x80 cm. Bed linen is made to your mattress sizes, including UK, US, EU and GCC bed dimensions, with the pocket depth you specify. Custom sizes are made to order at standard MOQ.

Can you match a specific colour or an existing towel we already use?

Yes. Send a physical sample or a Pantone reference and we match it in dyeing. Send an existing towel and we can reverse-engineer GSM, weave, border and size so your new stock sits beside the old without an obvious break.

Private label and customisation

Do you offer private label and OEM manufacturing?

Yes. Logo embroidery, custom woven labels, dobby and jacquard borders, Pantone matching, printed hem tags, and retail-ready packaging with your artwork. Embroidered SKUs start at 1,000 pieces; full private label with your own woven label and retail packaging starts at 2,000 pieces per SKU. Sampling runs 6 to 8 weeks ahead of production.

Can you put our hotel logo on the towels?

Yes, either embroidered on the dobby border or woven into it. Embroidery is faster and cheaper for smaller runs and handles fine detail; jacquard weaving is more durable through heavy laundering and looks better at volume. Send vector artwork and we send a physical strike-off for approval before production.

Can you supply retail-ready and Amazon FBA packaging?

Yes. EAN-13 barcoding for retail and FNSKU labelling for Amazon FBA, Amazon-spec polybags, and palletisation to FBA receiving requirements. We supply several US, UK and EU e-commerce brands this way.

How long does custom development take?

Allow 6 to 8 weeks for sampling on a custom weave, colour or label, then the normal 30 to 45 day production window on top. Straight embroidery on an existing spec is faster, usually 2 to 3 weeks of sampling.

Quality and certifications

What certifications does Anabyn hold?

Our products are made under OEKO-TEX Standard 100, which certifies that fabrics and dyes meet strict limits on harmful substances, and the certificate travels with the shipment. On the legal side we hold IEC ACLFA6777F from DGFT and GSTIN 32ACLFA6777F1Z8. Additional certifications and buyer-specific audits can be arranged on request, and we will always tell you what we hold today rather than what we could get.

What quality inspection standard do you use?

Every production run is inspected to AQL 2.5, the standard retail and hospitality level. AQL 1.5 is available on request for luxury hospitality and premium retail. You can also appoint a third-party inspector (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) at your cost, and we will schedule production around their visit.

Can I audit or visit the factory?

Yes. Buyers are welcome at the Thrissur facility, about 30 km from Cochin International Airport. Book a slot through sales@anabyn.com. If you cannot travel, we can run a video walkthrough of the line and the specific order in production.

What happens if a shipment has a quality problem?

Send photos and the affected quantity with the order reference. If the fault is ours, we replace the goods on the next shipment or issue a credit, whichever you prefer. We keep production and inspection records per order, so claims are checked against the actual run rather than argued in the abstract.

Do you supply organic cotton?

Yes, organic cotton towels and bed linen are available on request with chain-of-custody documentation for the specific program. Tell us the certification your buyer or retailer requires and we will confirm in writing what we can supply for that order before you commit.

Production and lead time

What is your production lead time?

30 to 45 days from the 30% advance for standard white and stock-colour hotel linen. Custom embroidered orders run 35 to 50 days, and reactive-printed beach towels 45 to 60 days. Sea freight transit is on top of that and varies by destination.

How long does shipping take from India?

Typical port-to-port transit from Cochin: UAE and the Gulf 7 to 10 days, Southeast Asia 10 to 14 days, USA East Coast 18 to 22 days, Australia 18 to 22 days, UK and Europe 20 to 25 days. Add customs clearance and inland delivery at your end.

Can you expedite an urgent order?

Sometimes, depending on what is on the loom and whether the spec is one we already run. Air freight is possible for small urgent quantities but changes the landed cost significantly. Tell us your in-hands date early and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.

Do you hold stock for repeat buyers?

We run scheduled call-off programs for repeat accounts: you commit to an annual volume on a fixed spec and draw it down in agreed shipments. That removes most of the lead-time risk from your side without you warehousing a year of linen.

Shipping and documentation

Which countries do you export to?

We ship to 60+ countries. The largest markets are the UAE and wider GCC, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, Australia, Canada and Southeast Asia. Cochin routes especially well into the Gulf and the Indian Ocean lanes.

What Incoterms do you offer?

FOB Cochin is our default. CIF to your destination port and DDP to your door are available on request. FOB gives you control of freight if you have a rate with a forwarder; DDP is simpler if you would rather receive the goods with duty and delivery already handled.

What documents come with the shipment?

Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and the OEKO-TEX certificate. We add any market-specific documents your broker needs, such as a preferential Certificate of Origin under the India-UAE CEPA. Draft documents go to you for approval before they are finalised.

Do you ship LCL or only full containers?

Both. Smaller orders ship LCL (less than container load) or by air for urgent samples and small runs. FCL is more economical per piece once your volume fills a 20ft or 40ft container, and we will tell you where that break point sits for your spec.

How many towels fit in a container?

As a working estimate at standard hotel GSM: 7,000 to 10,000 bath towels in a 20ft, 14,000 to 20,000 in a 40ft, and 16,000 to 24,000 in a 40ft HC, varying with GSM and compression packing. Bed sheet sets run roughly 4,000 to 6,000 in a 20ft and 10,000 to 14,000 in a 40ft HC. We give exact cartonisation and CBM figures in the quote.
