T-250 (250 thread count) and T-300 (300 thread count) represent the two most common 4-star and upper-midscale hotel bed sheet specifications worldwide. T-250 is the Marriott Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, and Holiday Inn standard — crisp, durable, cost-efficient. T-300 is the Marriott Marriott full brand, Hyatt Place, DoubleTree, and Sofitel value-tier standard — slightly softer, higher thread count, more premium feel. Both use single-ply combed cotton; T-300 uses a finer yarn (finer Ne count) that allows more threads per inch.
Two weaves dominate hotel T-250 and T-300 specification: Percale weave (1-over-1-under) — crisp, cool, matte finish, holds its shape well, most common for T-250 hotel specification. Standard for most hotel brands. Sateen weave (4-over-1-under) — silky sheen, softer hand, slightly less durable than percale, used for T-300 luxury-tier hotel sheets. Anabyn supplies both weaves in T-250 and T-300 from 100% combed ring-spun cotton.
Hotel bed sheets have a specific white specification: optical white (OB white) with a specific whiteness index, not pure unbleached white. The Marriott white, Hilton white, and IHG white are each proprietary specifications, but generally fall in the 80–90 Berger whiteness index range on optical brightened cotton. Our T-250 and T-300 hotel sheets are produced to the standard hotel OB white specification using reactive-bleached cotton with optical brightener treatment.
