Textile Manufacturing
Zero Liquid Discharge — 100% effluent recovery, nothing discharged. The sustainable sourcing choice for EU, German, and Scandinavian buyers with ESG mandates.
What is Zero Liquid Discharge?
Conventional textile dyeing consumes vast quantities of water and produces coloured effluent. A Zero Liquid Discharge plant recovers 100% of that water, treats it through evaporation, crystallisation, and reverse osmosis, and returns it to production — discharging nothing to the environment. Dissolved solids are recovered as reusable salt. It is the most rigorous water-stewardship standard in textiles, and the units Anabyn works with operate it.
Why It Matters
The ZLD Advantage for Buyers
100% Water Recovery
Every litre of dyeing and finishing effluent is treated and returned to production. Nothing is discharged to rivers or drains.
ESG-Audit Ready
Documented evidence for German LkSG, EU CSDDD, and corporate sustainability reporting requirements.
Pollution-Board Consented
Processing partners hold valid State Pollution Control Board consents to operate with ZLD effluent treatment.
Salt & Solid Recovery
Dissolved solids are recovered as reusable salt — closing the loop on the dyeing process.
The Process
How ZLD Closes the Loop
Effluent Collection
Dye-house wastewater is collected and pre-treated to remove colour and suspended solids.
Biological & Membrane Treatment
Multi-stage biological treatment followed by ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis.
Evaporation & Crystallisation
Reject brine is concentrated through evaporators and crystallisers to recover solids.
Water Reuse
Recovered permeate water is returned to the dyeing process — zero liquid leaves the plant.
